Lara is going to New York

Once upon a time there was a girl named Lara. Her parents decided to name her Lara, because they both love this name very much. Lara has a twin brother named Leon.

Today is already August 5th and there's still almost a whole month left until the end of the holidays. It's already 7:30 in the evening and Lara's mother called her from upstairs to come down for dinner. "Lara, come down for dinner," she said. "I'm coming!" replied Lara. As she sat down for dinner, she asked, "Where's Leon?" Her mother replied, "He went to sleep at his friend's house." Lara then asked, "And where is father?" Her mother answered, "He's at work and won't be back until late tonight.

Dear Diary- Today is the 6th of August and I have nothing to do on my winter holiday.

Oh that's not fair!! I've been waiting for my holiday all year!,

Although I made an organized list of what to do on vacation, I used a light blue marker that I bought with Tamar, my best friend. But that's not what I wanted to talk about right now. Oh, right! The list. I actually made a list of all the things I want to do in my free time, which includes.

Complete math assignments Complete an electronic language task Work on science assignments

"I have completed almost all of my tasks, except for the electronic language task which I haven't been able to access on the site. Unfortunately, our teacher Tsila yelled at me and accused me of making excuses, insisting that the problem is not with the site. It doesn't seem fair that Aviv's class (2nd class) missed a lesson due to one non-mandatory task.

In the afternoon Lara's parents called her and Leon into the living room. "Come to the living room. We need to tell you something." Lara and Leon came out of their rooms upstairs. "Are you thinking about what Second is thinking?" Leon asked. "Yes!" Lara said.

They ran up to the downstairs living room. Their parents were startled when they heard the noise of going down the stairs. "What?!" they both asked in panic. "Are you getting a divorce?!" they both asked again. "No" said mother. "No way!.

We have something to tell you," said Dad excitedly. "What is it?" asked Leon. "We are going to fly abroad," said Mom. "Wow, really?" Leon exclaimed. "Yes," replied Mom. "Wait," said Lara. "Where are we going?" she asked. "We're going to Lenny-York!" said Mom excitedly. "That's amazing! When are we leaving?" asked the children. "We leave in two days," said Dad. "Two days?!" Lara exclaimed. "Yes, so start packing clothes for 10 days," said Dad.

After sleeping in for a day, Lara woke up to another day off. "Oh right, tomorrow we fly to New York. I completely forgot!" she thought to herself. Lara got up from her bed in a panic and rushed to the bathroom to brush her teeth. When she got there, she found Leon already in there, quickly brushing his teeth. "I didn't pack!" they both exclaimed at the same time.

Dear Diary, This morning I woke up and realized that I hadn't packed yet for our trip tomorrow. I'm so excited! It's going to be my first time flying! But now I'm facing a dilemma: what should I pack for 10 days? Should I bring the yellow skirt or the pink one? I think I'll go with the yellow. And then there's the issue of my jackets. Should I take the light blue Guinness jacket, which is beautiful but not very comfortable, or the regular jacket which is more comfortable but not as nice? In the end, I decided to take both: a Guinness jacket and a regular one. Here's what I've packed so far: 10 shirts 3 blue Guinness shirts 1 white Guinness shirt 2 pairs of pajamas (1 long and 1 short) 11 pairs of underwear That's it for now, diary. I can't wait for our trip tomorrow!

Dear Diary, Today is our last day in New York. I haven't written in you for the past 10 days because I've been having such an amazing time! We went to a water park, an amusement park, and we even ate at fancy restaurants! Oh, and I almost forgot - while we were on vacation, our teacher told us that we had to write a book of our choice. The book is due tomorrow, and I haven't finished it yet. My mom is already getting angry with me for procrastinating, so I better finish it now. That's it for now, diary. I can't believe our trip is already over. It feels like we just got here yesterday. I'm going to miss New York so much.
